BitSquare Chess
Welcome to BitSquare Chess ("the Platform"). By accessing our web interface or mobile applications, registering an account, or entering an Arena Tournament, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Account Registration & Security
- You must provide accurate and complete registration details.
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your session tokens, credentials, and account access.
2. Premium Subscriptions & Paid Tiers
- Service Provision: Premium subscriptions grant access to server-side engine analysis, deep dataset access via the Opening Explorer, and exclusive profile visual identifiers.
- Billing: All web-based payments are processed securely via Stripe. Mobile application transactions are governed entirely by Apple App Store (StoreKit) or Google Play Billing terms.
- No-Refund Policy: Due to the instant provisioning of digital database resources and cloud server-side processing pools, all premium subscription sales are final. Refunds are not issued for partial subscription periods or administrative account terminations resulting from policy violations.
3. Account Restrictions, Suspensions, and Bans
- Administrative Authority: The Platform utilizes automated detection, Community Moderators, and Platform Admins to enforce community safety and competitive integrity.
- Muting and Temporary Restrictions: Moderators reserve the right to temporarily mute chat privileges or restrict tournament queues for disruptive behavior, profanity violations, or toxic conduct.
- Permanent Bans & Account Purges: Platform Admins reserve absolute authority to permanently terminate accounts found violating Fair Play Policies.
- Database Account Purge: In extreme cases of legal violations, platform security bypasses, or severe repeated abuse, an Admin may execute a permanent Database Purge. This action permanently deletes your profile entry. To preserve historical integrity, any public match data remaining in our records will be completely anonymized and assigned to a generic "Deleted Account" system tag.
